“Two stories. Two personalities. Two life-threatening quests for answers.”

Reeve and Ayleth Slyder were born the same. One, just as mischievous as the other. Always together, never apart, but certainly not where they needed to be. The trouble they got in together, and all the problems they caused all led up to one event in their lives that changed everything. And it was on that fateful day that the twins truly lost who they were.

Centuries ago, the biggest battle in the history of Asucaeca sent the island country of Alevia spiralling into danger, forcing everyone to hide behind the walls of their own cities to protect themselves from the mystery of what lay beyond. The years passed on and wore their agony on the Slyders, tragedy after tragedy striking their home with no means of an end. After vision-turned nightmares and a happy evening gone horribly wrong, Ayleth and Reeve are forced to make a decision to fight for what they believe in, both with their own mysteries to solve. The only problem is that they need to go beyond the wall, and no one knows what’s out there. Going into unknown territory unprepared after five centuries of silence is the last thing they want to do, especially if they’re to separate. Unfortunately, they have no choice.

Encountering companions along the way with interesting histories of their own, the Slyder twins must work quickly to uncover the truth of their secret past in order to find out who is responsible for all the destruction and pain left in their wake. But a terrible danger lies ahead of them both, and the future can’t always be changed.
